Sambeng village is a small town which has so many potential, almost all residences are a farmer with Chili, Corn, Rambutan, Turmeric, Ginger, Albasia, Mahogany and Teak as the local produce.
It was located about 6 km from Borobudur Temple with Menoreh Hills as the background and beautiful natural landscape. Emping Telo, their local food, becomes their major domestic industry.
Emping Telo was made by peeling cassava then boiled until soft. Then it was pounded and seasoned. After that, it was dried under the sun and fried.
