Tour de Indonesia 2018 start from Prambanan to Bali

After a seven-year vacuum, Tour de Indonesia (TDI) is again held this year on January 25-28. TDI 2018 will be followed by 15 teams of continental cycling bikes with a total contest of IDR 2 Billion.
Chairman of the Board of Indonesian Sports Cycling Association (PB ISSI), Raja Sapta Oktohari said, there will be a striking difference in the title of TDI 2018. With level 2.1, TDI became the cycling event with the highest point classification in Indonesia today.
“There must be a lot of challenges after a seven-year vacuum. However, our spirit is to revive and prove to the world that Indonesia can host prestigious activities on the UCI calendar (World Bicycle Federation), “Okto said during a press conference in Yogyakarta on Wednesday (24/1).
By having the highest point classification, participants who may participate in this event are at least continental level or above. In addition, and the tools provided to the rider is better than the 2.2 level.
The event will cross four stages within 640 kilometers, starting from Prambanan Temple in Sleman to Denpasar, Bali.
