“Central Java Wow”, 2 Months of Holiday Promotions

Central Java Provincial Government launched “Central Java Wow” to attract tourists to come to a number of attractions in Central Java. The government is targeting a 20 percent increase from the program applicable during the low season period from February to March 2018. Wonderful World (Wow) or Central Java Wow was officially launched by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo at Wisma Perdamaian Kota Semarang, Tuesday (30/1/2018).
“Jateng Wow” offers and introduces a number of tour packages to offer to tourists. Some of Central Java’s destinations will be introduced include Borobudur Temple, Karimunjawa, Sangiran, to Semarang City Tour.
In this program, there are at least 148 parties involved ranging from hotels, restaurants, tourist bureaus, to the transportation services. Tourists who follow the “Jateng Wow” will get waivers package tours, hotel discounts, discounts enter tourist destinations, regional special souvenirs and special prices from KAI, Citilink, and Garuda Indonesia.
