Soft Launching Application Cultural Places: “Chattra Borobudur E-Guide”

In line with the mission of Borobudur Temple’s tourism management to educate visitors, we provide Digital Guiding and Visitor Management applications in partnership with Austrian Company Oroundo International. The application is named Cultural Places: “Chattra Borobudur E-Guide”, it will be operated in all areas of Borobudur Temple, which will automatically tell the description of an object & relief when Visitor approaching a certain area with connectivity through Bluetooth.

Equipped with a small Microchip Bluetooth transmitter technology, this app ensures that content displayed is appropriate. This application also provides sources of information about tourism and culture. Presented in the form of text descriptions, audio guides, photos, and maps navigation, the Cultural Places: “Chattra Borobudur E-Guide” application can be downloaded on Appstore and IOS. This application can be a private tour guide for the visitors at Borobudur Temple through several points.
