Artists from Yogyakarta Held Ox Cart Festival at Prambanan
Festival Gerobak Sapi is held at the west side of Prambanan Temple fields. 12 Ox carts took part on this festival, those carts are painted and adorned by local artist for people to enjoy. The artists work together with bajingans or the cart driver. Some of the artists involved are Harman from Seniman Jogja Timur, Astuti Kusumo, and Bambang Heras.
Carts are adorned with a theme, like nationalist cart with Garuda symbols, peace cart with many peace messages, and racing carts.
The fifth Festival Gerobak Sapi will be held in July 2017 at Prambanan.
